How Is Your AeroGarden Growing?
Posted On 07-01-2008 , 9:10 AM
About 3 weeks ago I started up two new AeroGardens. One with Salad Greens and the other is a Salsa Garden (cherry tomatoes and jalapeno pepper plants). These are so much fun to watch grow, especially if you have children or grandchildren around to help you marvel at the new growth. We've eaten a few salad greens already and should have tomatoes and peppers in about nine weeks. Can hardly wait!
I want to get another AeroGarden with strawberries for my son and his family. I've always had strawberries in my yard and the grandchildren get so excited when we go to see if there are any ripe ones. However, I have never tried to grow the strawberries inside in my AeroGarden. We all love strawberries so! Thought it would be a good project for the two oldest grandsons who are eleven and nine.
If you have an AeroGarden already let me know your favorite seeds to grow in it and any secret tips. If you don't have one or don't even know what they are you can find out more about them on our Gardening with Limited Spaces web page.
Here's to happy gardening wherever and however you garden!
Sandy
